Downloader for Tumble App Reviews
the function : Download Liked Post , is not functioning. I thought they will fix the issue in this updat, but they didn’t. I bought the app just to use this function & it is not functioning at all :( it just creat an empty folder . please fix this issue
Nonsense
I bought it expecting to backup my tumblr photos. Nevertheless, it saves my subscripted photos. Why would I want that?

Works on any Tumblr blog!
Works wonderfully and it can download images off of any Tumblr blog, not just your own. :) This is the equivalent of TumblOne for Windows. Love it.
So far this app does nothing but cost money. Hope they support it and help make it work. :( Not to mention this app doesn’t look like the previews, I’m slightly concerned.

Does NOT allow you to download tumblr pages in bulk. Only allows you to download pictures from your OWN tumblr account!!!! $3 down the drain.

It’s a good app, but i thought i has a list of blogs you can add in it and app will download all of them, but it hasn’t =( Please add a list of blogs feature!

This app will allow you to download your own Tumblr blog after you login to your Tumblr account. If you are buying this to download other Tumblr blogs, it will not work.
Works great! A couple of suggestions: download movies as well as the pictures, and ability to select the base download destination folder. But as it stands a very nice app! UPDATE: Done and Done! Excellent App (and yes it can download other tumblr blogs, just tried it and it worked)

as far as I can tell, absolutly no instructions, and not intuitive. A waste of money. Can’t get a refund.

It donwloaded one photo from my Tumblr after logging in, no where close to the dozens it should have downloaded. Rip off. Avoid it.
Make sure you log in using the button in the corner or else the app is unusable. It actually does download the pics like it promises, but it’s confusing without any instructions.

1 poor interface You cannot see your user identity nor password when logging in. 2 It took multiple attempts to accept correct user identity and password 3 it appears to be cycling yet nothing has happened in over an hour 4 start button is unresponsive 5 support is not useful as there seems to be nothing there for this app 6 icons to sell you more programs seem to be functioning fine This program is NOT worth $2.99 as it does not work. A program that is free but does not work is a waste of time

The application isn’t working - it won’t download anything from my Tumblr account.
Does not do what you think it does
It did not download even one photo of any of the posts that I reblogged, it looks like it only downloaded advertisements?
HOW to LOGIN:
So this does work, there’s just a visual glitch when it brings you the login page. You’ll see a blue bar that looks like it should be a button in the middle of the page, and above that, a white line. Click on the white line, that’s actually the username box. if you look carefully, you’ll see that as you type in your email that little black dots appear as you type. So here’s how you log in: type your email into that line (even though you can’t see the text). THEN! (very important) hit TAB, which will take you to the password line. Then, type in your password (even though you can’t see it) and THEN hit ENTER. You should be logged in. It’s a visual glitch but the login screen is still there, you just can’t click on it. But doing this you should be able to log in.
waste of time and money…wheres the refund option??
Literally all you have to do i login to your tumblr, go to settings, click the blog you want to copy and at the very bottom it will say export. Takes a while but it saves everything to a file in the place you chose.

Not what I needed
I thought this app downloaded all the images from any Tumblr account you wanted. But it only downloads them from your own. What a waste.. for me at least I don’t even have a tumblr account.
Broken
Given how often I have seen this app recommended, I expected it to actually work. It failed to pull anything but random garbage from who-knows-where, and that after wasting an inordinate amount of time getting the app to do anything at all. Part of the present access problems may be on the Tumblr side, naturally, but the anti-intuitive design of the app itself does it no favors for operation.
Huge time saver!
Helped me download 3,391 pictures super quick, it felt like one minute. Wonderful app! I really only needed it for this one purpose, but it was well worth the price for what it did.
not bad
Main complaints are that some videos and songs were downloaded as their thumbnails instead of the song or video. Also, when signing in (to your tumblr), the app requests to make posts on your tumblr and you have to agree to this to use the app. Like another review said, I wish there were more filtering options. Also not sure if the picture size is the highest available for each image. Would be helpful to have some sort of settings when using the app but all you can do is hit download. The downloading worked well and quickly so it does what it says but I don’t know if it is worth $3.

Doesn’t Work
The app makes you log in to your Tumblr account but then it doesn’t pull the images from the blog that is associated with the account. Why did I pay for this?
Exactly what it claims
I have no idea why there are negative reviews for this app. It works exactly as advertised. You pop your login credentials at the bottom, select a folder in the Download path box and put in the tumblr address on the host name or tag line. It queues up all the pictures and puts them all into a subfolder with the webaddress on it. I had no issues at all.
